Divergent by Veronica Roth

Now I'm gonna tell you my review about a novel called Divergent. It's one of the best sellers novel according to New York Times, and I just saw its Indonesian version in my local bookstore yesterday. I read the English and International version, and I've got lots of things to talk about it, in here. But first, here's the book's data:

Title: Divergent
Author: Veronica Roth
Published: 2012
Pages: 487 (excluded bonus pages and sneak peek of Insurgent, book 2 of Divergent Trilogy)
Publisher: Katherine Tegen Books
Price: US$ 9.99
Rating: 9 out of 10

In the future world, society is divided into 5 groups called faction. Those factions are: Abnegation--people who put others first than themself, Amity--people who love peace and friendship, Condor--they who put honesty more than anything, Dauntless--the brave ones, and Erudite--intelligent ones. When children turn 16, they must choose which faction they want to belong in. That decision decides the rest of their lives. If they quit the faction they choose, they will be factionless, and exiled from the society.
There was Tris, and 16 year-old girl who is not ordinary. She is put into a simulation test which decides which faction suites her the best, but the result was strange. She was into 3 factions rather than 2. And then, she chooses Dauntless. She goes away from her old faction, Abnegation, and starts a new life there.

I think that's the sneak peek of the story because I don't want to spoil it too much hehe. I think this book is awesome, and can keep us stay awake all night. Once I started reading it, seriously  I couldn't close it! This book is as awesome as Hunger Games, but written in its own magnificent way. YOU MUST READ THIS BOOK, FOLKS! Trust me, you won't regret it!

Love,
AT
